SPHEROIDAL CAST IRON VENT GJS 500 PN 16 DOUBLE AND SINGLE FLOAT - Double or single float vent made of spheroidal cast iron GJS 500-7, PN16. The vent is defined as having a 'triple function' (FILLING - EMPTYING - PASSING) because, if installed correctly on water mains, it can evacuate large quantities of air during the filling phase of the mains; it also allows large quantities of air to enter during the emptying phase of the pipeline, which allows the vacuum effect to be contained and enables even small quantities of air to be evacuated. The vent has a high ratio between the diameter of the air passage orifice and the nominal diameter DN. The floats are coated with non-toxic elastomer. It is supplied with flanged connections and AISI 304 stainless steel screws.
