Sealing is achieved by compression of the elastomer covering the wedge (in-line type) or the plug (angle type).
The rubber coupling is suitable for installation on water systems, air conditioning systems and heating systems; it is suitable for absorbing oscillations, tensions, inclinations and vibrations in the vicinity of pumps or other equipment that can transmit movement. It also prevents noise propagation in pumping systems.
Double or single float vent made of spheroidal cast iron GJS 500-7, PN16. The vent is defined as having a ‘triple function’ (FILLING – EMPTYING – PASSING) because, if installed correctly on water mains, it can evacuate large quantities of air during the filling phase of the mains; it also allows large quantities of air to enter during the emptying phase of the pipeline, which allows the vacuum effect to be contained and enables even small quantities of air to be evacuated. The vent has a high ratio between the diameter of the air passage orifice and the nominal diameter DN. The floats are coated with non-toxic elastomer. It is supplied with flanged connections and AISI 304 stainless steel screws.
